Before you commit
What people want to know first.
Do we need to tidy our files first?
No, please don't. Many projects stall for months while someone cleans up a shared drive. Hand over what you have, as it is. Sorting it is our job.
It's only ever been delivered live. Is that a problem?
No. If it runs only in person or on Zoom, we'll ask you to record the full session before Capture starts. We need the recordings to work from: they hold what your expert actually says, not just what's on the slides.
How much of my time will this take?
Most of it is early, in the Blueprint and Capture. We go through your material first, so sessions with your experts are focused: they react to their own material rather than starting from a blank page. After that it's review and sign-off at set points.
Won't it lose what makes the live version work?
That's what Architect is for. The design protects the sequence and the moments that make the live version land, and you approve it before anything is built. Where live time genuinely adds value, it stays.
Can we edit the eLearning ourselves?
Yes. By default we build in HTML5 code, which keeps the price competitive. You receive the files, SCORM-ready for most LMSs, and anyone who knows HTML can edit them. If nobody on your team does, we make updates for you. Prefer Articulate? We can build in Storyline or Rise at higher pricing and hand over the editable project file.
What system do you use?
Our go-to learning platforms are TalentLMS and LearnWorlds. They meet most of our clients' needs and offer exceptional value for money for mid-market businesses, compared with enterprise learning systems. If your requirements are unique and need something custom-built, we can scope that too.
Who owns the system?
You do. We set the system up in your name, so you have full ownership, and you pay the platform licence directly. If you choose a partnership, we also stay on as an administrator. Any custom-coded tools we build are licensed to you for unlimited use. If you want to resell or white-label them, a licence fee applies.
What does your team look like?
You work directly with Susan. She leads every project, from the first call to handover, and she's the person you deal with throughout. The hands-on work, like the build, technical writing and system administration, is carried out by expert contractors she brings in and directs. You get a specialist on every part of the work, without briefing or managing a team. And because everything is set up in your name, with the training and guides your team needs, nothing depends on any one person. We also hold professional indemnity insurance.
